BASE Scheduler

Purpose of the Position

The BASE Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and booking of subcontract resources during the Residential House Foundation Construction process. The BASE Scheduler is the main point of contact during the foundation construction process for our subcontractor base.

Working within a team, this role is key to the BASECON business being responsible for delivering a reliable, organised, professional and consistent foundation construction process and a quality house foundation ready for Frame Construction.


Scheduling day-to-day operations and some reporting on progress and quality.

Main Activities

  • Be familiar with the scope of works on all jobs allocated;
  • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers:
  • Lead/instruct concreter crew/contractors;
  • Schedule and coordinate job subcontractors, e.g. concreters, concrete pumps, rock suppliers, steel suppliers and concrete suppliers;
  • Schedule deliveries;
  • Order materials for job site;
  • Arrange/Book All Inspections from external inspectors;
  • Time management – e.g., deciding who leaves the job site, who picks up material, who assists the supervisor;
  • Ensuring concreter subcontractors submit reports using the BASE Jobs App
  • Maintain jobs in the BASE Job Tracking and Scheduling system with up to the minute status and notes on jobs;

Must represent BASECON in an Ethical, Professional and Responsible manner at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


The BASE Scheduler must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

  • Microsoft Outlook and Word;
  • Some knowledge of Xero would be an advantage;


The BASE Scheduler should demonstrate the following skills:
